US President Joe Biden was mocked on social media following another embarrassing claim, alleging that if the GOP wins, the inflation will surge.
During the president’s speech in Los Angeles about his latest spending bill, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law on October 12, Biden took a chance to aim at the Republicans and warned Americans that if they retake control of Congress in November, they’ll push up inflation.
“Because of my economic plan, the United States is in a stronger position than any major economy to take on this challenge. If Republicans take control of Congress, everyday costs will go up — not down.” Biden said.
Biden’s claim was a response to the recent data pressures stating that the “Federal Reserve to continue hiking rates, and raise the chances that their efforts could drive job losses or trigger a contraction,” Bloomberg reported.

According to the media outlet, “Biden deflected by warning that Republicans would repeal his Inflation Reduction Act if they take control of Congress, exacerbating price increases.”
Following the release of the recent data, Representative Kevin Brady, the top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee responded, claiming that the latest data was “terrible news for seniors and working families.”
“Health care costs rose nearly 30% in the last year, the largest increase on record. Rent prices saw the largest hike ever recorded as well. Joe Biden’s cruel economy is just getting worse,” Brady added.
Moreover, Biden’s statement, warning American voters against the Republicans also sparked criticisms and mockery among netizens on social media.
“Cognitive mess Biden claims Republicans will increase inflation. This should be proof enough people that Biden is a total failure and killing America. HE and his cronies have created the worst inflation in my 70+year lifetime. Just like claiming economy is strong. What? RED WAVE,” one Twitter user lamented.
“What a complete liar u are Joe, you dont even believe ur own lies. Its really pathetic. Hes really pathetic. Have some dignity man. Everyone 2 a person knows better people just shake their heads in disgust now. Its almost like u standing on a sinking ship as u scream how safe you are,” another social media user added.
“Pretty hard to go above Bidens inflation rate. The guy is a disaster. His VP is killing off their vote pool with all the fentanyl deaths from a non secured border,” a netizen responded.
Furthermore, Radio host Paul Zeise also blasted the President, claiming that Biden “just lives in fantasyland.”
The Republican National Committee also pointed out that even if inflation ended now, Biden’s policies have already cost ordinary Americans thousands of dollars.
“Even if inflation stopped rising today, Biden’s price hike would cost the average American family more than $8,739 over the next year,” the GOP tweeted.
