US Vice President Kamala Harris seems to be getting worse after making a huge gaffe that could potentially destroy the US relations with South Korea.

On Thursday, Harris was on a trip to the border between South Korea and North Korea, called the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) as part of her trip to South Korea.

During her visit, she had met with South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol to tackle economic and technology partnerships.

Harris and President Yoon also had a “gender equity roundtable” as part of their talks on the ballistic missiles of North Korea.

The Vice President also stopped by at the Camp Bonifas Dining Facility during her trip and had a small discussion with the American service members.

She then looked through their binoculars at the border and proceeded to give a speech at Observation Post Ouellette.

While the Vice President confidently addressed her remarks, she made a rather significant mistake which sparked outrage and embarrassment among the Americans.

As Harris spoke about the “strong alliance” that the United States had with South Korea, instead of mentioning the SK, she proceeded to talk about the alliance that was “strong and enduring” with the “Republic of North Korea.”

“So, the United States shares a very important relationship, which is an alliance with the Republic of North Korea. And it is an alliance that is strong and enduring,” Harris declared.

She then went on to deliver the rest of her speech, providing a robust reaffirmation of Washington’s alliance with Seoul in the face of nuclear-armed North Korea.

“I cannot state enough that the commitment of the United States to the defense of the Republic of Korea is ironclad and that we will do everything in our power to ensure that it has meaning in every way that the words suggest,” she said.

“This includes our extended deterrence commitment, which is supported by the full range of US military capabilities,” the vice president added.

Moreover, a few hours after Harris left South Korea, North Korea test fired two ballistic missiles Thursday, Seoul’s military said, adding that it was Pyongyang’s third such launch in less than a week.
