As the Biden administration and some Democrats continue to allow illegal immigrants to enter the United States, border states have been sending the migrants to “sanctuary cities.”
Missouri Senator Josh Hawley has been pushing for legislation that will help states deport illegal immigrants easier.
Just recently, Hawley introduced a bill that empowers states to deport illegal immigrants and allows them and local law enforcement to enforce certain federal immigration laws.
The law will reportedly provide state prosecutors a power to begin prosecutions for federal violation of immigration law.
Hawley’s proposal came after the Republicans and other Americans blasted the Biden Administration and the Democrats for not doing enough to secure the border.
Work began Tuesday on a tent city in the parking lot of Bronx’s Orchard Beach designed to accommodate the overflow of migrants coming to New York from Latin America via Texas and other parts of the country unwilling to accommodate them. Full story: https://t.co/siBR2qtOGf pic.twitter.com/aENY0tjtSH

According to the Border officials, more than two million illegals have been arrested at the border this fiscal year, a record high.
As a result, Republican Governors Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott started transporting illegal immigrants to several Democratic-led jurisdictions, Martha’s Vineyard and a busy street near Vice President Kamala Harris’ residence in Washington, D.C.
On Tuesday, NYC is expected to see more buses of migrants arriving. Reports revealed that the influx of migrants has caused the city to construct a “tent city,” a large area with heated tents to hold illegal migrants while they wait for a screening process.
“We don’t want what is supposed to be temporary to become permanent. So we don’t want this temporary respite center to end up becoming a de facto shelter for folks where there is a thousand beds, right? Where people are going to be sleeping and literally just being there in Orchard Beach, which is incredibly far from true mass transit.” Murad Awawdeh, the executive director of NY immigration coalition, said.
Early this month, DeSantis released a statement after being criticized by one of the top Democrats, Rep. Hakeen Jeffries, accusing him of behaving like a human trafficker in a recent press conference.
“When Biden is flying these people all over the fruited plain in the middle of the night, I didn’t hear a peep out of those people. didn’t hear a peep. I haven’t heard a peep about all the people that have been told by Biden you can just come in, and they’re going, they’re being abused by the cartels, they’re drowning in the Rio Grande. You had 50 that died in some shed in Texas. I heard no outrage about any of that. I haven’t heard outrage about all the fentanyl that’s come across the border that’s killing Americans in record numbers.” DeSantis argued.
“I don’t hear outrage about the criminal aliens that have gotten through and have then victimized people — not only in Florida, but all throughout the country. I didn’t hear any outrage about that. The only thing I hear them getting upset about is you have 50 that end up in Martha’s Vineyard, then they get really upset,” the Florida governor added.
The Florida governor also went on to apologize to the illegal immigrants for the ill-treatment towards them, posed by the Biden administration.
“And I’m sorry, those migrants were being treated horribly by Biden. They were hungry, homeless, they had no opportunity at all. State of Florida, it was volunteer, offered transport to sanctuary jurisdictions, because it’s our view that one, the border should be secured. And we want to have Biden reinstitute policies like Remain in Mexico and making sure that people aren’t overwhelming.” DeSantis continued.
“But short of that, if you believe in open borders, then it’s the sanctuary jurisdictions that should have to bear the brunt of the open borders — so that’s what we’re doing. But what happened was, they were they were provided an ability to be in the most posh sanctuary jurisdiction maybe in the world,” he explained.
