Former first lady Melania Trump broke her silence to address the controversies swirling about her and her former aide, Stephanie Wolkoff.
After two years since Melania’s former senior advisor, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff published her tell-all book “Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady,” which sparked controversy leading to Americans and the media criticizing the first lady, Melania finally broke her silence to set the record straight.
Trump revealed that Wolkoff secretly recorded several of their conversations while she was working for the first lady as her aide.
“While I was serving as First Lady of our country, Stephanie Wolkoff secretly recorded several of our conversations. Wolkoff then spitefully edited and released our conversation to create the perception that Christmas is not significant to me. I will personally set the record straight because the mainstream media has failed to provide context for these misleading exchanges. Christmas is an important time for me, my family, and the American people, and my devotion to the holiday is personal and profoundly serious.” Melania said.

In the book released by Wolkoff, she included Melania’s alleged disdain towards her step-daughter, Ivanka Trump and also the comments that she made about families being separated in the U.S.-Mexico border in 2018.
“Most people will agree that reuniting migrant children with their parents is more important than discussing Christmas decorations during summertime. The fact that Wolkoff deleted this part of our conversation, where I expressed hope to reunite families split apart at the southern border, exposes her malicious intent,” Melania added.
The former first lady also alleged that “Wolkoff is untrustworthy” and claimed that “her contract with the First Lady’s Office was terminated in February 2018, and she was later charged with violating the confidentiality clause of her White House Employment Agreement.”
In the report released by Breitbard, secretly recorded comments were released where the First Lady attacked the media for its double standards in covering the border crisis.
“Ok, and then I do it and I say that I’m working on Christmas and planning for the Christmas and they said, ‘Oh, what about the children that they were separated?’ Give me a f****** break. Where they were saying anything when Obama did that? I can not go, I was trying get the kid reunited with the mom. I didn’t have a chance – needs to go through the process and through the law.” Melania reportedly said.
The heated altercation between the two continued and after Breitbart released Melania’s story early this month, Wolkoff responded, attacking the former first lady.
“PATHETIC! Melania Trump needs to attack ME to sell Christmas ornament NFT’s. What is Melania worried about? She can’t sell ornaments on her own? What’s the next attack against me? When she tries to sell lightweight jackets that say “I DON’T REALLY CARE! DO YOU?” Wolkoff lamented.
