In a wild video that was taken by Fox 11 Los Angeles’ helicopter during the chase, the suspect can be seen driving along Interstate 10 in southern California.
At one point, the vehicle is seen moving into the side of a white sedan that was also running on the road.
A police vehicle eventually drives alongside the truck and attempts to ram it into the concrete median which forces the suspect to come to a stop.
However, the suspect refused to coordinate with the authorities and as can be seen in the video, he was running along the interstate immediately after the police ram the suspected stolen construction truck he was driving into a median.
Following the long wild chase, the suspect was eventually arrested with the help of a K-9 officer.
The video footage also shows the suspect being loaded into an ambulance and immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.
However, at the time of writing, it is still unclear if he was seriously injured.
Furthermore, no other injuries were reported in the wild chase. As of now, the authorities have not yet detailed any charges the suspect may face.
Another police chase in California was captured on air on July 23 that led the police officers on a pursuit through several counties that started in San Diego County and ended in Compton.
The San Diego County by the Escondido Police Department first reported the incident about the driver who was believed to be a woman.
According to the reports, the driver made her way to the city of Corona where Riverside County police took over the pursuit which continued on the eastbound 91 Freeway and entered Orange County, passing through Yorba Linda and Anaheim.
The chase also reached L.A County where the Los Angeles Sheriff’s helicopter took over the chase.
The driver was completely stopped after she made it into Compton where they entered a mobile home park and calmly walked out of the vehicle.
Following the long wild pursuit, the suspect was then taken into custody.
