House Democrat Witness who called “abortion” self love sparked public outrage on Twitter, calling it “pure evil.”

On Wednesday, the House Oversight Committee held a hearing on abortion access where an “abortion story-teller,” Sarah Lopez representing the pro-abortion organization We Testify, defended abortion rights for women and described her own abortion experience and claimed that it was one of the best choices she’s made in her life.

Prior to the Supreme Court’s decision, Lopez was working as the youth program manager for the abortion provider connecting service Jane’s Due Process. However, the company’s services were all suspended after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.

“My abortion was the best decision I ever made,” Lopez said.

However, her abortion defense fueled another controversy after she claimed that her abortion experience “was an act of self-love,” which sparked public outrage on social media shortly afterwards.

Several netizens on Twitter blasted the story-teller with some calling Lopez’ remarks “demented” and “pure evil.”

“’My abortion was an act of self-love.’ She’s correct. She loved herself, her convenience, and her comfort so much that she was willing to kill her child for them. That’s why the Bible says godless people in the end days will be ‘lovers of self.’” Podcast host Allie Beth Stuckey wrote in response to Lopez’ statement.

Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon also blasted the story-teller and said, “a rapist serves himself at the expense of another, too. Does that make a rape a good decision?”

“Satan is laughing,” Blaze TV’s Sara Gonzales tweeted.

Americano Media host Dania Alexandrino then responded, saying, “These people are pure evil.”

Daily Caller senior congressional correspondent Henry Rodgers also tweeted and called Lopez’ remarks “demented.”

On June 24, pro-life activists protested outside the Supreme Court in Washington after it overturned Roe v. Wade, ending the constitutional protections for abortion that had been in place nearly 50 years.

Violent protesters also started calling for violence against Supreme Court Justices pro-life pregnancy centers, like-minded conservatives and other pro-life activists.

“One unverified Twitter user tweeted, ‘we gotta bring back assassination.’ Another user responded, ‘I’ve literally been saying like someone gotta bring this sh[*]t back because clearly it was working before.’ Both tweets remain uncensored on Twitter. A tweet with a Molotov cocktail recipe is also uncensored, along with a hope that someone shoot Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas ‘in the head,’” MRC Free Speech America writer Catherine Salgado said.
