US President Joe Biden was slammed after visiting Texas, just weeks after the Robb Elementary School that killed multiple children and 2 teachers.
During his visit, several residents blasted the president as he and first lady Jill Biden visited a memorial to honor the deaths of the victims at Robb Elementary School and solidarity with the community in Uvalde on Sunday.
In a live report by Stella Chavez, a reporter for KERA News, she described the outrage coming from the public as “some people are concerned about politicizing this event.”
The reporter also explained that she has “heard from folks who say, “I don’t want to focus on that, on what could have happened, what should’ve happened, I just want to focus on the kids.”
“I think it depends on who you ask. I think that, for the most part, the families who were affected want to focus on their loved ones who were killed. And I think having the leader of our country come here and express, you know, his condolences is important to them. But I also know, I’ve heard people say, you know, now is not the time for him to come here.” Chavez added when asked whether the residents cared about Joe Biden’s visit.

Moreover, another complaint from a resident was reported by field reporter Jorge Ventura Media, stating that Biden needs to focus on addressing issues on the border.
“Uvalde local down the street from where Biden is attending mass says he needs to visit the border and address the issue. She tells me that the local resources in Uvalde are used up in dealing with migrants.” The reporter said.
Some also claimed that “the timing of Biden’s visit to Uvalde was off” as for many Texans, “their nerves are still raw” following the recent mass shooting that killed innocent children.
The incident came after Biden addressed the Uvalde tragedy multiple times. However, several Americans were reportedly disappointed as the president didn’t focus on tightening security measures in schools and addressing mental health awareness.
“If I were the Uvalde community I would absolutely reject any attempt that Biden makes to visit. He’s a traitor. I wish our country would wake up and no community would welcome the fake POTUS anywhere!” A Texas ranger tweeted on Sunday.
