Democrats are worried over their current standing in the upcoming midterm elections.
Democrat Sen. Elizabeth Warren expressed concerns over her fellow democrats standing in the 2022 elections and claimed that the party will suffer a significant loss in November without more congressional gains.
In an interview on CNN’s “State of the United States,” Warren said that she was very “delighted to talk about what we have achieved, clearly. I believe the president gets great credit, but it isn’t enough,” when asked if Democrats in the 117th Congress should brag about their election record.

“With less than 200 days until the elections, American families are in a state of distress. Because we’re in the majority, it is our responsibility to deliver on behalf of those people, which means making the government function for them.” She added.
“We have so much we could do. If we do it all in the following 200 days, we’ll be alright. This is the essence of democracy. Take whatever we’ve done to the people, but we need the job done.” Warren continued.
The Democrat also predicted that her fellow Democrats would be in “tremendous jeopardy” if they do not achieve significant outcomes in the next 200 days. “Then, I think the Democrats will lose,” she foreshadowed.
Despite Warren’s negative prediction, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer still seemed to be confident in their ability to retain control of both houses of Congress.
However, several analysts believe that Republicans will take control of the House and possibly of the State.
Warren also noted that Musk, taking over the social media platform, Twitter is “dangerous for our democracy.”
Just this week, the Tesla CEO who describes himself as a “free speech absolutist,” bought the social media platform for a whopping $44 billion dollars.
