There’s nothing more important to me than protecting my family. Regardless of what happens, I want to be able to offer them the best quality of life. I know you want to do the same.

Disaster can strike at any moment; be it a weather-related emergency, a home invasion, or some other threat to your family. I am blown away by how comfortable and complacent my generation has become. I am terrified by how helpless these people will be when faced with a truly dire survival situation.

You have an amazing opportunity to NOT be one of those people.

So take a moment right now and congratulate yourself for coming across our training materials. You may be new to disaster preparedness and may be wondering if you have what it takes to keep your family safe…

Well, as the popular saying goes, “Keep calm and carry on.”

I’ve helped thousands of people from all walks of life to develop and improve their survival skills, prepare for every imaginable emergency, and gain confidence in their ability to protect their families and their properties. And I’m going to help you, too.

Coming from a family of outdoorsmen, I was always interested in camping, fishing, hunting, shooting, and trapping. I began learning about survival skills as a child and continued in the Boy Scouts.

Although I’ve always been of the “prepared mind”, my professional career took me into the world of disaster preparedness, where I’ve been learning and teaching ever since. I’ve been an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for over 15 years. In addition to working as an Emergency Manager, I’ve worked in both federal and state Emergency Operation Centers and have been deployed to disaster areas with FEMA as a part of the Incident Command Staff.

I hold several instructor certifications in terrorism, decontamination, HAZMAT, and others. I was a Captain in the U.S. Civil Air Patrol, in which I served as the squadron Emergency Services Officer, teaching cadets and senior members first-aid, search and rescue, and survival skills.

My experiences made me realize that if and when something happens, you can’t count on anyone to come to your rescue. It’s simply human nature to look out for ourselves and our own families.

When a disaster of catastrophic proportions occurs and widespread panic ensues, you will be looking out for number one. So will everyone else. Don’t fool yourself, people are not going to be nice and they are not going to share. When the infrastructure breaks down, the government is not going to rush over with food, water, and medical help.

You can never rely on anyone 100%. You have to rely on yourself. So it’s up to you to ensure that your family can survive short- and long-term disasters and everyday threats. Don’t ever think that a major crisis won’t happen to you. Keep learning, keep training, and keep prepping. To help you get started, we have created an extensive library of training materials. Dive in and learn core survival skills like finding water, protecting your family in any disaster situation, navigating without your cell phone, defending your home and much more.

Keep a close eye on your inbox for my latest training resources and get the most up-to-date advice on protecting yourself and your loved ones from everyday threats and surviving disaster situations.

Remember, the skills you acquire today may mean the difference between life and death tomorrow.

And you never know… One day, the skills that you’ve mastered and the wisdom that you’ve gained may be the only resources available to you.

To your survival,

Richard Marshall
