Two female protesters attempted to disrupt Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ speech in New Hampshire.

As DeSantis was delivering his remarks at the New Hampshire Republican Party’s annual Amos Tuck Dinner at the Double Tree Hilton in Manchester, two women hopped on stage and unraveled a sign while standing behind the governor.

“Jews against DeSantis! Jews against DeSantis!” the women yelled before they were briskly removed from the stage by security.

“You gotta have a little spice in the speech right?” DeSantis, who appeared unbothered, told the crowd as the women were escorted out by security.

“Why would you want to pay for the ticket to get in just to do that? I don’t know, but different strokes for different folks,” he later jokes.

This marks DeSantis’ first state visit amid brewing rumors of a possible presidential campaign for 2024. The governor has been attending events recently to secure donations from longtime supporters of former President Donald Trump.

The Washington Post reported earlier this year that DeSantis’ political committee will serve as the launching pad for the governor’s higher office ambitions. Sources familiar with the situation said that he plans to announce his candidacy once Florida’s legislative session ends in May.

A new poll from Mason-Dixon Florida also suggests that DeSantis could beat Trump in the Republican presidential primaries. According to the survey, 59 percent of registered voters approve of DeSantis’ performance as governor since his reelection last year, while only 39 percent said otherwise.

Trump currently holds a 39 percent favorable and 50 percent unfavorable rating, while Biden is viewed favorably by just 33 percent of Florida voters and unfavorably by 54 percent. This makes DeSantis significantly more popular than Trump among regular Republican primary voters.

Trump’s camp, meanwhile, has started to attack the governor in an effort to deter him from running or sink his favorable ratings with Republicans.

In TV ads that started running earlier this month, the Trump-owned MAGA Inc. has been criticizing DeSantis’ voting record as a member of Congress and highlighting his stance on Social Security entitlements.

“The more you see about DeSantis, the more you see he doesn’t share our values. He’s not ready to be president,” the commercial’s narrator says.
