US President Joe Biden’s approval rating is getting worse after repeatedly insisting that he intends to seek reelection in 2024.
In the recent polls conducted by Daily Wire and Reuters, Biden’s rating reportedly dropped under 40 percent.
According to the poll conducted by Reuters on Tuesday, it was revealed that only 36 percent of adult American voters approve of how Biden is doing his job and 59 percent of the voters said they disapproved.
In a separate poll conducted by the Daily Wire, his approval rating among all American voters has now dropped under 40 percent.
Reports revealed that president Biden’s current controversies, involving border crisis, inflation, oil price hike and his policies relating to the current Ukraine crisis have played a huge role in the results.
As a result, Biden is currently underwater among nearly all demographics, with 64 percent of white Americans voicing out their disapproval of the president’s leadership, as did 51 percent of minority respondents.
Amid the expected drop in Biden’s approval rating, his fellow democrats are reportedly losing their patience and his support among them has also dropped to 72 percent.
However, despite the difference in political party, the US president has received a total of 10% approval rating from the republicans, indicating that they approve of his job performance.
Meanwhile another poll was also conducted as part of Big Data’s monthly “Public Polling Project” showing similar results.
The results revealed that Biden has received a total of 37 percent approval rating while his disapproval rating was a whopping 60 percent. Participants revealed that the president’s response to Covid-19 has played a huge role and that they didn’t like the way Biden handled every major issue aside from COVID.
On the other hand, 35 percent said that they liked Biden’s approach to the economy.
Furthermore, the participants of the poll also claimed that they didn’t like how he has managed America’s relationship with China.
Following the recent polls, experts believed that such bad news for Democrats could give Republicans a 10-point advantage ahead of this year’s midterm elections.
FiveThirtyEight’s polling aggregator also puts Biden’s average approval rating at 40.6%.
